Arsenal are reportedly interested in making a move for Real Madrid forward Mariano Diaz according to reports in England.
It is understood that Real Madrid have offered the forward to Arsenal for a cut-price deal as they are looking to offload some of their players.
The Spanish side have a squad of more than 30 players and manager Zidane wants to cut this number before the end of the summer.
Diaz is one of the players that have been told to look for a new club and Arsenal are mentioned as the leading contender for his signature.
Diaz is no stranger to playing outside Spain as he shone for French club Olympique Lyon some few seasons back. Arsenal manager Unai Emery has made a list of players that he wants to sign to strengthen different positions in the team.
The likes of Wilfred Zaha, William Saliba and Lucas Vazquez have been linked with a move to the club.
Diaz has four years left on his existing contract with Real Madrid and the club could be ready to sell the player for around £20 million.
Diaz made just 13 appearances in the league last season scoring three goals in all appearances.
