Manchester United are close to sealing a deal for a new right back if reports from Belgium are legit.
La Derniere Heure reports that PSG defender Thomas Meunier is edging closer to a permanent move to England. It is reported that the French side value the player to be worth £22million in transfer fees and United are quite confident that a deal could be agreed going into the new season.
Meunier is also being chased by Arsenal and it is reported that Unai Emery has already met with the player’s representatives. However, fresh reports suggest that the right-back favours a move to Old Trafford over Arsenal.
It is now looks as though United are close to sealing their first summer signing and have now moved their attention to Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.
Meunier’s contract with PSG expires next summer and, the defender who turned down a deadline-day transfer to Chelsea last summer, looks set to finally make a move to England.
Should he join United, The 27-year-old would be expected to be a regular starter in place of Antonio Valencia whose contract club with United runs out this month.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid have offered Gareth Bale, Navas and Rodriguez to United in exchange for Paul Pogba.
