Manchester United defender Eric Bailly has been linked with several clubs this summer after falling out of favor with the club last season. However according to TeamTalk, the defender is against the idea of leaving the club this summer.
Bailly joined United from Villarreal in 2016 and has had a mixed spell at the club. Initially impressing in his debut season at the club. The Ivory Coast international however endured a torrid campaign last season.
He was relegated to the bench by Mourinho and did not fare better under Solskjaer. The 25-year-old made just 8 appearances last campaign and fell behind Phil Jones, Chris Smalling and Victor Lindelof on the pecking order.
Premier League club Arsenal were also interested in the player but the difficulty of moving to a rival club ensured that a deal was scuttled.
There had been speculations that the defender could move to french club Lyon in the summer. However, Bailly wants to stay and fight for a starting berth at the club next season.
Meanwhile, Lyon remain interested in Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny as an alternative to Bailly.
Lyon still harbour hopes that Bailly would consider their offer and make a switch to France as per same report.
