Following Arsenal’s 3-0 victory against Colorado Rapids in which coach Unai Emery made use of a lot of younger players, the match against the German side, Bayern Munich to be played at Los Angeles is expected to be different.
It is expected that Emery would play his senior players, with the names of the likes of Granit Xhaka, Sokratis Papastathopoulus, Mesut Ozil and Henrikh Mkhitaryan expected to start in the Wednesday match.
Emery is expected to play Reiss Nelson against the German side. Nelson made name for himself last season while on loan at Hoffenheim and he is expected to make it to Arsenal first team in the coming season.
If Emery has utilised the 4-4-2 formation during the pre-season tour which suggests the manager may likely use two strikers in the coming season.
Arsenal are short in defence so the youth players are sure to feature at some point in the game.
Below is how Arsenal could line up vs Bayern Munich:
Leno; Maitland-Niles, Sokratis, Mustafi, Monreal; Xhaka, Willock; Nelson, Ozil, Mkhitaryan; Aubameyang
