Chelsea fans and some football enthusiasts around the world have had their chart on how the Blues will surface without their most important player next season.
The Blues recently sold Eden Hazard to Real Madrid after lots of speculation regarding the player and the Spanish giants.
His departure will create a vacuum that Chelsea fans will hope can be filled with both established and upcoming talents; Hudson-Odoi, Reuben Lotus Cheek and Christian Pulisic comes to mind.
However, the challenge is that Chelsea might not be able to use the transfer market even if they decide to reinforce the team if they are found to have circumvented any rules while recruiting players in seasons prior. If so, they’ll have to work with the tools they’ve got.
To this end, an adjustment is imminent with the aforementioned three of particular interest in the set up.
Cesar Azpilicueta might return to centre back, a place he excelled in while Antonio Conte was at the helm.
David Luiz who recently signed a new contract might find playing time difficult to come by when Antonio Rudiger is fully fit.
Meanwhile Christensen is expected to force a move away to gain regular playing time.
Kepa Arizabalaga, the most expensive keeper in the world, would remain in goal while Emerson continue to retain the left back position if he impresses the new coach.
The midfield is a lot trickier but the experience gained by Jorginho might have toughened him for next season.
Loftus Cheek and Barkley will make up the other two while Hudson Odoi and Pulisic with a new marksman probably Mario Icardi, would make Chelsea formidable even without their Hero Eden Hazard.
Here’s how Chelsea could line up without Eden Hazard in attack.
