4-3-3: Man Utd Predicted XI v Leeds United

Manchester United began their pre-season tour with victory against A-League outfit Perth Glory last Saturday. Star forward Marcus Rashford and James Garner scored the goals to kick-off the pre-season.

During the game manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer used 23 players as he rotated his first team. Though United’s attack was somewhat unconvincing against Perth Glory, we turn our attention to the Red Devils clash against Leeds United on Wednesday where Solskjaer could make additional changes to the team.

The Norwegian is experimenting with his best 11 and he could feasibly field the lineup that could face Chelsea in the Premier League on opening day.

Solskjaer has already revealed that David de Gea would start in the game against Leeds and a defensive line of Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Axel Tuanzebe, Victor Lindelof and Luke Shaw. This is most likely to be the got to the lineup for the club next season.

United are looking to bring in Portuguese midfielder Bruno Fernandes in the coming days. However, Paul Pogba, Nemanja Matic and Scot McTominay could feature from the start in the midfield bringing creativity and stability.

Upfront Anthony Martial would be expected to start on the left and Daniel James on the right as both players would add width and goalscoring threat. Meanwhile Marcus Rashford would be expected to lead the line on Wednesday.
