Tottenham are reportedly interested in Real Betis star Giovani Lo Celso according to reports from Spain.
Local tabloid Diaro de Sevilla claims that the Champions League finalist have submitted a formal offer of £53 million for his signature.
Los Celso was one of the best players for Real Betis this season joining the club on an initial loan deal from PSG.
His passing range and goal scoring abilities from the midfield saw the club activate the option to sign him permanently in April.
The Mirror reveals that Le Celso is keen to make the move to White Hart Lane to link-up with fellow countryman Mauricio Pochettino.
Spurs are looking to spend in the summer after spending the past two transfer windows without a new signing. Lo Celso fits the ideal Tottenham signing, a young player that has a huge resale value.
The 23-year-old has a huge release clause fee of £88 million but it is unlikely that any club would be willing to pay that much for the Argentine international.
Los Celso could be the ideal replacement for Danish international Christian Eriksen who is believed to be on his way to Real Madrid.
It remains to be seen if the transfer would materialize but all signs bode well at the moment.
