It is only a matter of time before an official announcement is made over the transfer of Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Crystal Palace to Manchester United.
Reports from England have maintained that the United have paid a record fee for aright back worth £50 million that would see the defender swap London for Manchester. It is understood that the player is expected to take up the number 29 jersey.
Wan-Bissaka is regarded as one of the best young fullbacks in the game and his transfer completes a remarkable year for the defender. Converted from a winger to the defence at the start of last season the 21-year-old excelled for the Eagles.
His marauding runs from deep and defensive solidity made him one of the most sought after defender this summer. Manchester United have been in the market for new signings after a disappointing season.
He would be expected to replace outgoing captain Antonio Valencia and likely to be thrust straight into the first team. This transfer is being quickened so the player would be able to partake in pre-season.
There are also reports that the club are close to signing Sporting Lisbon ace Bruno Fernandes. The Portuguese has agreed on personal terms with only a transfer fee remaining for the move to be completed.
