So far in the ongoing transfer window, Arsenal FC have only been able to complete the contract of teenage striker, Gabriel Martinelli even though they have been linked with moves to sign other players.
Well, it looks as if the Gunners may land a new player between now and next week.
This is according to a report via TeamTalk, which revealed that Arsenal are close to completing a deal for Real Madrid unused midfielder, Dani Ceballos.
The Gunners are faced with competition for the Spanish midfielder from Tottenham and AC Milan but a report disclosed that coach Unai Emery has been able to convince him to move to Emirate Stadium.
TeamTalk reports that Cellabos has cut short his holiday in order to meet up with Arsenal, which means he could be unveiled as the Gunners latest signing within now and next week.
Real Madrid were close to letting Ceballos leave permanently but his performance for Spain has made the La Liga giant change their mind.
However, they are ready to let him leave the club on loan in a bid to prepare him as they now see him as a replacement for Luca Modric.
Dani Ceballos joined Real Madrid from Real Betis in 2017 for €16 million, so far he has made 17 appearances in the La Liga and two in the UCL.
Barring unforeseen circumstance, Arsenal will mostly sign Ceballos before the close of the window.
