Arsenal receive boost in chase for Wilfried Zaha

Unai Emery is a busy man as he is apparently working to revamp his somewhat depleted squad ahead of the 2019/20 season.

Arsenal recently announced the signing of Gabriel Martinelli but it failed to create a buzz, as the fans are demanding that their clubs signs Wilfried Zaha instead.

The good news is that there is a glimmer of hope for the Arsenal fans who want to see Zaha at the club

The Gunners have been strongly linked with a move for Crystal Palace forward Wilfried Zaha and have been the subject of a failed £40m bid from Arsenal.

Arsenal were earlier reported to have just £45m budget going into the summer transfer window. However, fresh report can confirm that they now have a war chest of over £100m available for transfers.

This means that the Gunners can finally table an increased offer for the striker whilst having more funds to spend on other targets like William Saliba and Kieran Tierney.

Metro reports that Arsenal have been told that £70million is a fair deal for the 26-year-old who has laid down the marker for the transfer.

Zaha has reportedly told Palace that he wants the move to the north London club in a bid to play in Europe.

The Ivory Coast international is a versatile forward who can play centrally as a striker as well as from both wings.
