The transfer market is usually an interesting time in every football season as we get to see situations where players protest in a bid to push for a transfer.
A similar scene seems to be playing out between Crystal Palace, Wilfried Zaha, and Arsenal.
Metro UK reports that Ivory Coast international, Zaha has declared his intention to leave Crystal Palace.
The report revealed that the 26-year-old has gone ahead to submit transfer request to Crystal Palace as he favours a move to Arsenal FC this summer.
According to Sky Sports, it reported that Zaha hopes to join Arsenal immediately he returns from the African Cup of Nations.
Prior to this, the North London side had submitted a bid worth £40 million to Crystal Palace for Zaha which was hurriedly rejected.
Crystal Palace disclosed that Wilfried Zaha will not be allowed to leave except the interested club pays £70 million as transfer fee.
Zaha is Unai Emery’s number one attacking target considering the fact that he is one of the best strikers in England at the moment and has scored 36 goals in all for Crystal Palace in his 147 appearances for the club since 2015.
The 26-year-old striker will be a big boost to Arsenal attack and wing since he can play as a winger and striker.
However, a look at the financial constraint shows that Zaha is out of reach for Arsenal this summer.
