Liverpool are yet to make any signing this summer but reports suggest they are on course make a major announcement in weeks.
The Reds are close to sealing the transfer of their youngster Sheyi Ojo on a season-long loan transfer to Rangers. The winger is set to link up with Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard at Ibrox.
Ojo has arrived Glasgow ahead of an official announcement to become the Ranger’s fifth summer signing.
The 21-year-old just returned from his loan move from French club Stade Reims where he made 15 Ligue 1 appearances, 12 of which were from the bench. The youngster struggled to impress whilst on loan in France, recording one goal and an assist.
Ojo is hoping to relaunch his career at Rangers in a bid to break into the Liverpool first team. The former Mk Dons player, who joined Liverpool at 14, can play from either flank as well as the No.10 role.
Liverpool are happy with Ryan Kent’s progress since joining Rangers on loan last summer and are happy to see another of their player join the Scottish giants. Kent made 43 appearances for Rangers in the 2018/19 season, recording 6 goals and 9 assists, and the Reds are set to reap the dividends of such exposure going into the new season.
