Reports emanating from the tabloids claim that Chelsea are due to give their youngster, Callum Hudson-Odoi a new deal which see his wages increased to £100,000.
The youngster was faced with challenges last season especially with the manager who was playing him infrequently but that seems to have been resolved after featuring constantly at the tail end of the season before his unfortunate Achilles injury.
During his long spell on the bench, the player was dissatisfied and was interested in seeking shores anew with Bayern Munich in Germany a mooted destination.
He even handed in a transfer request in January to force his departure but the club rained on his parade and the 20-year-old Englishman stayed put.
His contract with Chelsea is due to expire next year but it seems a favourable talk between him and the club has convinced him to elongate his time with them by penning a new deal amidst Bayern’s lurking interest.
Also, the imminent departure of Eden Hazard might be a harbinger for new things to come for the impressive but inexperienced youngster with suggestion he may become the new owner of the No. 10 shirt when Hazard departs eventually.
