According to report in the Independent, Premier League club side Chelsea have announced a preseason tour of Japan for 2019-20 season.
Although the preseason destination has been confirmed but tickets details, venue and the opponents they would be playing are yet to be announced.
The club have however revealed that all details shall be made available accordingly in the coming months.
This arrangement to Japan have been made in order to strengthen the relationship between Chelsea sponsor Yokohama and to bring the Japanese fans closer to the English club.
Chelsea Chairman Bruce Buck added: “We are looking forward to visiting Japan again and we will take the strongest squad possible to play in front of our fans there.
Since beginning our partnership with Yokohama in 2015, the relationship has gone from strength to strength and we are pleased we will be able to visit their home country where they have been a market leader for more than 100 years.”
Didier Drogba who recently announced his retirement and is in Japan as part of the campaign with Yokohama is positive that the tour will be superlatively refreshing for the Blues.
The last time the Blues visited Japan was for the club world Cup in 2012 semi final. They won it but lost the final to Brazilian side, Corinthians.
