The annual summer clearout at Chelsea is about to begin with the news that Chelsea boss Sarri is set to leave for Juventus.
The Italian is believed to have negotiated a move to the Italian giants after enduring a decent spell at the club. His exit is expected to have a ripple effect as several members of the coaching staff are also likely to leave.
One of the key figures of Sarri’s backroom staff Gianfranco Zola is expected to leave the club when his contract as assistant coach expires in the summer.
Zola signed a one-year deal with the club to work alongside Sarri and is believed to be on his way to Juventus.
Chelsea had offered the former Chelsea ace an ambassadorial position but the 52-year-old prefers to remain in coaching and his unlikely to accept the post.
Some clubs in England have also been linked with signing the former Watford manager and he could also consider moving back to management.
Chelsea legend Frank Lampard is the favourite to replace Sarri on the hot seat at Stamford Bridge and expected to work alongside Jody Morris who is his assistant at Derby County.
Zola is a decent manager in his own right and he would be a good fit for Championship sides.
