The transfer window is less than a week away from shutting down and there remain a raft of deals that could occur before Thursday.
According to reports from England, Chelsea are ready to listen to offers for the duo of Danny Drinkwater and Tiemoue Bakayoko.
The former Leicester midfielder has become something of a forgotten man at Chelsea having been jettisoned last season by Maurizio Sarri. Drinkwater was close to a move to Wolves last January but decided against a move.
The arrival of Frank Lampard this summer appeared to have given the 29-year-old a new lease of life but the Blues are apparently ready to cut their losses on the player. Drinkwater was signed in the 2017 by Antonio Conte in a £35 million move.
Chelsea would be taking a huge loss on their part in transfer fee and there are a number of clubs said to be interested in the England international.
Sarri told the England international there was no future for him at Stamford Bridge while the Italian was in charge.
Bakayoko is also in the same train with the French midfielder also said to be looking for a new club. Despite starring for AC Milan last season, his disciplinary problems saw the club differ to exercise their option to buy this summer.
It will be interesting to see which club would sign both players ahead of the new season.
