Manchester United are the favourites to sign Real Madrid star Isco according to reports from Spain. Isco was one of the players that had an underwhelming season at the club struggling for consistency.
The 26-year-old found himself on the bench during the brief tenure of Santiago Solari who favoured other players in his position. However, the return of Zinedine Zidane has seen an upturn in form but despite this, the Spanish club could yet sell the midfielder in the summer.
Real Madrid is up for a huge summer with the club likely to spend £250 million in transfer fees on new signings. It is understood that the club are looking to sell players to fund this spree with Isco and Gareth Bale on the shortlist.
Real Madrid value the Spanish international at around £105 million and the club are willing to listen to offers for the player.
Manchester United are interested in the midfielder but it is highly unlikely that Ed Woodward would sanction such fee for the 27-year-old.
Isco on his day is a world-class performer who has been a major part of the success that the club has achieved in Europe in the past three seasons. He would definitely improve the midfield at Manchester United and bring much-needed creativity to the team.
