Manchester United are reportedly looking to offer French star Antoine Griezmann a sensational weekly wage as they look to lure him over.
Griezmann had informed Atletico Madrid of his intentions to leave the club this summer and several clubs are thought to be in the race to sign him. Barcelona are seen as favourites but news from England suggests that there could be a late twist.
The Sun recently published a reportwhere it claims that Manchester United are preparing a bid around £95 million that would break the British transfer record.
The report also says that Manchester United have made an offer to Griezmann worth £450,000 a week that would make him the highest paid player in the club.
Griezmann is considered as one of the 10 top attackers in the world and would be a massive signing for the Red Devils.
The 28-year-old has the ability to create goalscoring chances and is equally proficient in front of goal. He also rarely gets injured and is a willing hard worker as seen with his performances for Atletico over the years.
The French World Cup winner was also voted as the third best player in the last FIFA Footballer of the Year. His signing could be the jolt that the sleeping giants need to return to their glory days.
