Manchester United are hoping to avoid a repeat of their disappointing season in which they conceded more goals more than any of the top 9 teams.
The Red Devils have already made a transfer bringing Swansea ace Daniel James in a deal worth £18 million.
According to the latest reports from England United chief Ed Woodward is working on bringing three new signings.
Former manager Jose Mourinho had highlighted some potential signings before his sack in December and United are likely to follow his recommendations.
Woodward is working on signing West Ham duo Issa Diop and Declan Rice. Both players were exceptional for the Hammers last season and United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen on the duo.
West Ham had rejected an initial transfer offer for Diop but United are expected to make a renewed bid for the 21-year-old.
Meanwhile Leicester defender Harry Maguire remains a key target for the club as they look to sign him this summer.
Maguire has developed into one of the best defenders in the Premier League and was an integral member of the England Semifinal World Cup run in 2018.
According to reports, Leicester have placed a valuation of £90 million on his head but United are looking for a lower fee. If Manchester United can sign all three players it would represent an excellent transfer window for the club.
