Ander Herrera is a player that has divided opinions since announcing his departure from the club towards the end of last season. The Spanish midfielder had endeared himself to the fans due to his passion and energy when he donned the famous red strip.
However it was revealed that the player had turned down a contract offer from the club in favour for a better offer from PSG and as expected, the long age argument about players loyalty surfaced.
While some vented their anger, others reacted with understanding that the player wanted one last big contract. On Thursday a picture leaked on Twitter showing Herrera holding a PSG jersey.
This expectedly brought about unhappy reactions from Manchester United fans. Some fans questioned the player’s decision to leave the club for PSG despite professing his love for the club.
One fan claimed that the player went for money over the club while another blamed Manchester United for the botched deal.

I still think you are one of the very few who knew what exactly it meant to wear the United's shirt . Such a shame the club let you go like that …

Meanwhile Manchester United are working to bring Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes as his replacement. It is thought that the club are closing in on a deal with the player which would make him the third signing of the season.
United have already made two signings already as they have signed Anton Wan-Bissaka and Daniel James.
