Arsenal target Yannick Carrasco has revealed his ambition to play in the Premier League next season. In an interview with the Sun, the Dalian Yifang forward spoke of his desire to leave the Chinese Super League in the summer.
Carrasco moved to the Dalian Yifang from Atletico Madrid 18 months ago but has continued to be linked with a move back to Europe.
Arsenal were reportedly interested in the forward during the January transfer window but a move failed to materialise, as Atletico sold him alongside Nicolas Gaitan to Chinese Super League side Dalian Yifang.
However, since the winger has called his time on his stint in China, it is understood that several Premier League clubs have made their interest known to the forward including Arsenal.
The Gunners struggled this season due to lack of width and the club are looking to bring in a wide forward this summer.
Carrasco fits the bill as a skilful wide forward with good work rate and a proven track record in Europe. He would also cost far less than other targets such as Nicolas Pepe and Ousmane Dembele.
This transfer is one to watch out for as it is still early days in the transfer window.
