Arsenal are on course to sign Saint Etienne centre-back William Saliba if all goes to plan this summer.
According to report from England, the Gunners are increasingly confident of agreeing a deal for the defender who is rated at £26.7million.
Arsenal are said to have agreed personal terms with Saliba ahead of an official bid for the 18-year-old. Some sources claim the player has verbally agreed to a five-year deal and has told close friends that he wants to join the Gunners.
This is coming after the player’s agent was spotted in Manchester, which spewed fuel over a potential move to Manchester City. Manchester United are also linked with the player but Arsenal remain favourites to land the player.
The details of this deal are yet unclear but reports suggest the French club want Saliba loaned back next season upon signing for Arsenal.
Arsenal are said to be negotiating a six months loan move which would mean Saliba joins the north London club in January.
The Arsenal fans are already enamoured of Saliba and some can’t contain their excitement over landing the France u20 defender who has been dubbed ‘Laurent Koscielny replacement’.
William Saliba price tag has gone up every week, it started at 18m now its at 30m. We should buy him now before he goes up to 50m.
