Arsenal are arguably the biggest winners in the transfer window despite beginning the summer with only £45 million as transfer budget. The Gunners were able to strengthen their defence with the signings of Kieran Tierney and David Luiz on deadline day.
We look at how the Gunners will line-up this season with their new signings. German stopper Bernd Leno is expected to begin the season in goal as the number one with the 26-year-old enjoying a solid debut.
The defence sees a shakeup with Hector Bellerin maintaining his position at right-back flanked by new signing Kieran Tierney at the left back spot. The central defence is expected to feature two veterans in David Luiz and Socrates whilst Shkodran Mustafa operated from the bench.
This combination should provide stability and leadership to the young fullbacks. The midfield trio is likely to be Torreira and Ceballos in the midfield and Mesut Ozil in the advanced playmaking position.
The attack could be one that has lots of pace and power with the arrival of Nicolas Pepe to the fold. The front three is widely expected to be Aubameyang at the right, and Pepe on the left with Lacazette in the middle.
