Manchester United have been linked with a lot of players this offseason and one of them is Lille forward Nicolas Pepe. The Ivorian international has been on the top list of a number of clubs after impressing for the French club this season.
His manager Christophe Galtier has finally confirmed that the 23-year-old will leave the club this summer. Speaking to Canal + he revealed that the Ivorian international has informed the club of his decision to leave this summer.
This news comes as a huge boost for Manchester United as they look to add the forward to their squad ahead of next season.
However United face a battle for his signature as Bayern Munich and PSG are reportedly interested in the player.
A transfer fee of £70 million has been mentioned as the asking price for Pepe with the French club looking to receive maximum value for their star man.
Pepe is known for his pace, dribbling ability as well as his goalscoring nous. He scored a remarkable 22 goals and provided 11 assist this season which led Lille to second place in Ligue 1.
He would be a good signing for the club as he boasts more stats than current options Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard.
