Arsenal defender Krystian Bielik has revealed to reporters that he is looking for a way out of the club. The defender was signed two seasons ago in what was considered a coup at that time but is yet to break into the first team.
He was sent on loan to Charlton Athletic last season where he excelled for the Addicks and that has made him hungrier going into the new season.
Speaking to reporters the Poland u21 international revealed that his future is uncertain. He also admitted that he has no plans to return to the Gunner’s u23 team.
“My future is uncertain. But I will definitely not return to Arsenal’s U23 team,” he insisted.
The defender is regarded as a growing talent as he possesses the qualities of a centre back. He is strong off the ball and also good aerially. The 21-year-old can also play the ball out from the back and is also a threat going forward.
From all indications the club could be looking at sending him back on loan to Charlton who would be happy to take the youngster.
Bielik’s current contract lasts two more years at the club and looking at the current situation the club may be forced into selling this summer.
Meanwhile the Gunners are closing in on another young defender with the impending arrival of William Saliba.
Saliba is expected to complete the switch this week as all terms have been signed and only an official announcement remaining.
