Liverpool are reportedly in talks with Ajax forward Hakim Ziyech according to reports from England.
Ziyech is one of the most coveted players in Europe after his exceptional performances for the club last season. The Moroccan international had expressed his intention to leave this summer and his agent is in talks with several clubs.
English news outlet The Mirror claims that Liverpool have made inquiries about his availability this summer. Ziyech has a release clause of £30 million which has attracted several Premier league clubs including Arsenal and Manchester United.
It is understood that Ziyech prefers a move to London side Arsenal but their failure to qualify for the Champions League could see the club miss out on the player.
The 26-year-old is known for his creative nous as well as his goal scoring ability. He was a crucial player for the Dutch side last season, leading the club to the semifinals of the UEFA Champions League.
Liverpool would be getting a player who is capable of providing 20 goals a season if they sign the forward.
Ziyech had a personal best season for Ajax netting 21 goals and providing 24 assists in all competitions.
