While other English football clubs have been linked with one transfer or the other, Liverpool have been quiet in the summer transfer window so far.
The Reds have only signed Sepp van den Berg to the team. However, Turkish publication Fanatic (h/t Daily Star) has reported that Liverpool FC have turned their focus to another youngster in the form of 20-year-old Abdulkadir Omur.
It is claimed the Reds are working towards reaching an agreement with the Turkish club, Trabzonspor to sign the young winger. However, the amount the Reds are willing to pay for the young winger was not made known.
However, the English side wouldn’t be able to get him playing for them immediately as he would have to sort out his work permit with the Home Office.
With this, Fanatik disclosed that the Reds want to sign Omur and then loan him back to Trabzonspor at least for one year.
By doing this, Omur would be able to gain more experience under his belt whilst prepping for the big move to England.
Well, this is not the first time Liverpool have been linked with Abdulkadir Omur, as they were linked with him in the January transfer window but no deal materialised
This story could yet be a rumour as none of the parties have so far confirmed any talks.
