Liverpool and Manchester United are understood to have sent scouts to watch highly-rated Fenerbache goalkeeper Berke Ozer according to reports from Turkey. Turkish reporter Yagis Sabuncuoglu revealed that both clubs had sent scouts to watch the 18-year-old shot stopper ahead of a possible transfer at the end of the season.
Ozer has been touted by the local media as the next best goalkeeper in Turkey and there are high hopes for the teenager. Manchester City were linked to the player some seasons back before he switched to Fenerbahce from Altinordu for a transfer fee of €2.5million.
Manchester United and Liverpool are well stocked in the goalkeeping department as David De Gea and Alisson Becker are considered two of the best stoppers in the world. any move for Ozer would be as a future first team prospect.
The 18-year-old boasts tremendous agility and reflexes for his age and he has represented Turkey in age grade tournaments. Fenerbahce considers the youngster as a key prospect for the club and it would take a huge offer for the Turkish giant to sell.
