Manchester United have reportedly reached an agreement to sign highly-rated Crystal Palace defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka according to reports in Italy.
Italian reporter Nicolo Schira claimed on Twitter that the defender was the top transfer priority for Manchester United and a contract has been agreed with the player.
It is understood that while the player has agreed personal terms United are yet to reach a deal with Crystal Palace.
Crystal Palace are understood to be demanding £60 million for the 21-year-old fullback.
Wan-Bissaka enjoyed a breakthrough season at Selhurst Park with the player putting up impressive performances for the club.
He is capable of playing as a fullback or wingback and considered to be one of the best young defenders in England.
United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is looking for quality young players to bolster his squad after a disappointing season.
The Red Devils have already secured the signing of highly rated Swansea Daniel James in a deal worth £18 million.
Wan-Bissaka would be expected to replace the veteran fullback Ashley Young in the starting line-up and would bring pace and defensive discipline to the backline.
This transfer looks increasingly likely as there have been several indications from multiple sources to suggest that it could occur. Wan-Bissaka was an ever-present for Crystal Palace this campaign making 35 appearances in all competitions.
