Despite the fact that Manchester United are making efforts to add big names to their side before the close of the summer transfer window, the Red Devils have, however, not relented in their well-known habit of buying young and promising players.
Sporting Witness report reveals Man Utd have made a move for young Frenchman, Florent Da Silva.
The 16-year-old midfielder is yet to sign any professional deal but he is considered to be one of the great hopes of Lyon.
A publication from France reports that Florent Da Silva is a technical midfielder and can perform well in more creative roles.
It further said that big clubs around Europe have indicated interest to sign the youngster.
Manchester United are however said to be making irresistible offer money to buy the youngster as soon as possible.
Another source added that the negotiations have reached the advanced stage and all that is left is for the two sides to reach a final agreement.
On the part of Florent Da Silva, the young midfielder is reportedly indifferent about his future yet.
This means Lyon have to decide whether to lay out their plans for him or help him to a new club where he can grow further.
