Manchester United have thus far been active in the transfer window as the Red Devils have already made two signings this summer.
Crystal Palace defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Swansea winger Daniel James are the two players to have arrived Old Trafford.
According to reports from the Evening Standard, it is revealed that Manchester United are increasingly confident of signing Sporting Lisbon ace Bruno Fernandes.
Italian tabloid La Gazzetta Dello reporter Nicola Schira also corroborates this information and it is expected that the move should be completed in the coming weeks. Schira alluded on Twitter that Manchester United have made an offer of £35 million.
Sporting Lisbon are looking for close to €70 million but Manchester United are unwilling to spend that amount for the Portuguese international. Fernandes is regarded as one of the best players in the Portuguese League after a record-breaking season with the club.
Fernandes has been linked with a move to the club in the past month. However, there have been a reduced hype on the player in recent days.
The 24-year-old is targeted by Liverpool and Tottenham but Man United look most likely to finalize this deal. Fernandes scored 20 goals and 13 assists.
