Manchester United have reportedly opened talks with French midfielder Adrien Rabiot about a potential transfer this summer.
French tabloid TF1 (h/t Metro) claims that the player is currently engaged in talks with United and Everton as he looks to move to the Premier League.
Rabiot has endured a horrid season having been frozen out of the PSG first team after refusing to sign a new contract with the club.
His current contract expires at the end of the month and a host of clubs are interested in his signature.
Barcelona, Juventus, Tottenham and Inter Milan have held talks with the player but his huge wage demands appear to be a major problem for these clubs. Rabiot is believed to be demanding a wage of £175,000 alongside a £10 million sign-on fee.
Manchester United have no problems with money and are willing to offer the 24-year-old a huge contract for him to move to Old Trafford.
Everton are also locked in talks with Rabiot as the idea of attracting a quality player without paying a transfer fee is too good for the club to turn down. Rabiot is known for his creative ability in the midfield with his passing ability and work rate a key feature of his game.
This transfer is one that we believe could happen as United are in dire need for reinforcements in the midfield.
