Manchester United are active in this summer transfer window as they seek to finish strongly next season.
Fresh reports suggest that the Red Devils are prepared to offer PSG midfielder Adrien Rabiot a wage package worth £170,000 per week in a bid to convince him to make the move to Old Trafford.
It was reported last week that United won the race for the midfielder’s signature despite keen interest from the likes of Tottenham and Arsenal and Juventus.
Daily Mail also reports that Arsenal are also interested in the France international who has not played a game since December due to his refusal to extend his contract with PSG.
United are said to be offering the free agent a deal worth around £9million a year with a £4.5m signing-on fee.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is looking to add fresh legs to his midfield as the likes of Ander Herrera and Pogba are reported to be on their way out of the club.
However, the promise of regular football and a fat check isn’t enough to convince the 24-year-old to join United as he is keen on playing Champions League football next season.
Further reports now suggest that Rabiot favours a move to Liverpool.
