Reports from Spain are saying that Giovani Lo Celso has handed a transfer request to Real Betis having only joined them on a permanent basis in April.
Giovani Lo Celso, who also played for Paris Saint Germain on loan last season is already planning to move to a new club and his likely destination has been reported to be the English Premier League where he could join one of Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United.
It is also reported that while the midfielder said he is happy at Real Betis, he, however, added that he wants to play in the UEFA Champions League.
Real Betis have accepted his transfer request and are ready to let him leave if they can get the offer around £68 million as against the fee of £88 million they paid to sign him.
With this, Giovani is likely to leave before the end of the summer transfer window to any of the aforementioned Premier League sides.
The midfielder also favours a move to Tottenham ahead of Manchester United, however, Tottenham will not be able to pay the sum demanded by Real Betis having signed Tanguy Ndombele for £55 million this summer.
For the north London to sign Celso, they will need to sell some of their players like Danny Rose, Toby Alderweireld and Christian Eriksen, who have been linked with moves away from the club.
