The Red Devils fans should be getting prepared to welcome a third player at Old Trafford this summer.
Man United have been linked with moves to sign Portugal international and Sporting Lisbon, Bruno Fernandes for some days now.
Portuguese club have demanded the sum of £63 million for the midfielder but Man United had been reluctant to complete the deal.
However, according to a latest report by DailyS tar, there is a new twist to the transfer.
Daily Star reports that Italian journalist, Tancredi Palmeri has a positive update for Manchester United fans.
Palmeri in his statement hinted that the English club had another contact for Bruno Fernandes and Sporting Lisbon are confident of sealing the deal when both sides meet in coming days.
An earlier report disclosed that Lisbon were growing impatient with Man Utd and had made plans to sell Wendel, Raphinha, Marcos Acuna and Bas Dost in order to get funds to invest in the club.
But with Man Utd now ready to complete the deal they wouldn’t have to sell the players.
Bruno Fernandes came to the spotlight following his performances in the UEFA Nations League which was won by Portugal.
The likes of Tottenham and Liverpool were at some point linked with moves to sign him. Man Utd fans should be expecting the replacement for Ander Herrera any time from next week.
