Manchester United have been one of the active clubs in the transfer window with no day passing without a player being linked to the club.
One player that has been consistently linked to the club this transfer window is Sporting Lisbon star, Bruno Fernandes. The Portuguese international has attracted several clubs to himself this summer after his impressive performances for Sporting Lisbon last campaign.
He was both a goalscorer and creative force for the Portuguese giants as he scored 32 goals and contributing 18 assists in 53 games.
Latest reports from Italy claim that Manchester United have beaten rivals Liverpool and Tottenham to the signing of the 24-year-old.
United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is looking to rebuild this summer and has identified Fernandes as the man to take the team forward.
His ability to score from midfield as well as create would be an excellent combination with the talents of Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic in the middle of the park.
It is understood that Sporting Lisbon are demanding a transfer fee of £80 million for his services. Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is reportedly interested in the player but at the moment United appear to be leading the chase.
Fernandes would be one of the biggest signing for the club since the arrival of Paul Pogba in 2016.
