Olympique Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele has been linked to several clubs in the past two transfer windows. However, it is increasingly likely that he would be leaving the club this summer according to reports from France.
GFFN reports that Manchester United have agreed personal terms with the 22-year-old defensive midfielder. It is understood that Juventus and Tottenham are also interested in the player and have made an offer worth €60 million.
However, Lyon president Aulas is demanding a transfer fee of €90million. Aulas is known as a shrewd negotiator and this could drag on for a long time.
Ndombele is considered to be one of the best defensive midfielders in French football and has enjoyed a breakthrough year. United are in need of reinforcements in the midfield after the exits of Ander Herrera to PSG.
Ndombele has the ability to transform the midfield, as he is a tireless worker with excellent passing abilities. He would be able to ensure smooth transition from defence to attack and would bring out the best from Paul Pogba.
United would need to move quickly if they are to secure his signing. Meanwhile the club are also close to signing Crystal Palace ace Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
