Man Utd close to reaching agreement with £60m-rated attacker – not Fernandes

The Red Devils seems to have their focus on top players in the Premier League this summer. Man Utd have signed Harry Maguire from Leicester City in a deal worth above £80 million, however, it looks as if they are not yet satisfied.

With less than few days to the closing of the summer transfer window, the Red Devils have been linked with moves to sign another star midfielder in the EPL in the person of Christian Eriksen from Tottenham Hotspurs.

Report from Spain reveal that Man Utd and the Hotspurs midfielder are close to reaching an agreement on a possible transfer move this summer.

Metro Sport report that the 27-year-old, who is in the last year of his deal with Tottenham disclosed in June that he wants to leave the club for the Spanish side, Real Madrid.

However, the Los Blancos manager, Zinedine Zidane disclosed that Man Utd midfielder, Paul Pogba is his main priority, which means Real Madrid will only consider him if they are unable to get Pogba.

At the moment, it yet to be certain if Real Madrid are still interested in signing Pogba after Man Utd demanded over £150 million as his price tag.

However, Man Utd seems to be looking at a future without Pogba, this is because AS claim Eriksen is already considering a possible transfer to Old Trafford in a 5-year contract.

Reports also claimed Tottenham are ready to let him leave for £60 million.

Eriksen is a well-rounded midfielder, who can make accurate pass and break defense.

Even if Pogba doesn’t not leave this summer, Man Utd still need  a new midfielder that will serve as a replacement for Andrea Herrera and it looks like Eriksen could be the one, time will .
