Manchester United have already spent close to £100 million on transfers already and the club are looking to bring more players to the club.
Latest reports from England reveal that the club is looking to beef up the midfield with new additions to the team.
The Daily Express claims that the club are closing in on the transfer of Sporting Lisbon star Bruno Fernandes.
Fernandes has been linked to the club in the past few weeks and there have been conflicting information about the transfer.
During this period the likes of Tottenham and Liverpool have also been linked with the central midfielder who is tipped to join one of the top Premier League clubs.
However the report claims that both clubs have decided against the transfer leaving the Red Devils as the sole favourites for the player. It is claimed that The midfielder’s agent has agreed a move which would see him swap Lisbon for Manchester.
Fernandes is regarded as one of the best midfielders in the Portuguese league. The 24-year-old is thought to be excited about the prospect of moving to United and playing for one of the biggest teams in the world.
From a United standpoint the signing of Fernandes will enable the club posses one of the most complete midfielders in world football.
It remains to be seen if this signing would be completed but Fernandes’ arrival would mean Paul Pogba leaving the club this summer.
