Manchester United having completed the signing of Daniel James are gearing to announce the signing of their second summer signing if all goes to plan in days.
According to report from Daily Star, United are preparing to launch an £18m Newcastle youngster Sean Longstaff.
The club is seeking experienced midfielders in the market, but it appears they also keeping an eye out for prospects as well.
Longstaff, 21, played just nine Premier League games for Newcastle and is on course to make a move to Old Trafford if reports circulating are valid.

It is also reported that Longstaff has welcomed the idea of joining Man United.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer aims to stamp his authority on the current squad and that may see several big names leave the club. Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku are linked with a move to Real Madrid and Inter Milan respectively.
United are reported to be linked with a £40m move for Monaco midfielder Youri Tieleman. Also, Bruno Fernandes and James Maddison are also strongly linked to Old Trafford.
