Manchester United are hoping to complete the move for transfer target Aaron Wan-Bissaka according to several news outlets in England.
It is reported that Wan-Bissaka has agreed personal terms believed to be a five-year contract worth £80,000 a week. Crystal Palace had been in negotiations with United over a deal with both clubs haggling over a fee.
Crystal Palace had been holding out for a transfer fee of £60 million but United are ready to pay an initial fee of £40 million which could rise to £55million.
Should a move be agreed in a couple of days which would make the 21-year-old become the most expensive fullback in England, Wan-Bissaka would become the second signing for the Red Devils after the arrival of Daniel James from Swansea.
Wan-Bissaka is regarded as one of the young best defender in the Premier League. He enjoyed an excellent breakthrough season. The England u21 international has become a major feature in the first 11 for the Eagles.
Meanwhile the clubs are also close to a move for Olympique Lyon star Tanguy Ndombele.
A transfer fee of £90 million had been touted for the player. It would be a huge coup if United can complete both signings.
