Manchester United are reportedly in talks with Leicester regarding the transfer of defender Harry Maguire.
United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is working on bringing new players to the club as he looks to build a title-winning squad for next season.
The defence is a major priority for Solskjaer, as the Norwegian tactician wants a quality defender that would partner alongside Victor Lindelof in the heart of the defence.
Maguire is regarded as one of the best defenders in the Premier League and would improve the backline of United.
The 26-year-old has enjoyed a rapid rise in fortunes since signing from Hull City two seasons ago. Leicester want to keep the player but are willing to sell for a world record price. It is believed that Maguire is valued at a staggering £90 million.
There are also reports that claim that Manchester United could include Andreas Perreira in the deal as Brendan Rodgers is a huge fan of the Brazilian.
Perreira has failed to impress at Old Trafford and United could pay a lesser fee if they are able to include the player in the deal.
This transfer is far from done and United may be forced to splash out big for the sturdy defender.
