Manchester United were earlier reported to have ended their interest in Monaco midfielder Youri Tielemans but it seems their stance has changed.
According to report by Daily Star, United have launched a £40m move for Tielemans in the hope that it would be enough to oust Leicester City to his signature.
United are also reported to be interested in Bruno Fernandes who is also a subject of keen interest from rivals Liverpool
The Foxes are reported to have tabled a £36m bid for the midfielder and are reportedly confident that the player will continue his stay at the King Power stadium.
After failing to impress at Monaco, Tielemans joined Leicester in January for the remainder of the season and was quite brilliant, helping the club to a ninth-placed finish on the English Premier League table.
Paul Pogba has been linked with a move out of Manchester amid interest from Real Madrid. The Spanish club have reportedly made him their No. 1 transfer target and would pay him around £500,000 per week if the transfer is successful.
Man United would need a replacement for Pogba who appears to be pushing for a move. The club have also been linked with Leicester’s James Maddison who is valued at £60m.
