Manchester United pair of Andreas Pereira and Axel Tuanzebe have signed long-term deals with the club. Manchester United unveiled both players today and there was this smile on the face of manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Andreas Pereira revealed that it was a joy for him to continue his footballing career at Old Trafford. The 23-year-old signed for the club in 2011 and has made 35 appearances for the first team amid several loan stints outside the club.
He is regarded as a creative midfielder whose forth is in taking on opposing players with his dribbling ability. His new contract would see him remain at the club until the summer of 2023.
Tuanzebe meanwhile signed a contract until 2022. The defender is highly rated within the club despite spending the past few seasons on loan at different clubs. The 21-year-old finally had a breakthrough campaign last season with Aston Villa in the Championship.
He was impressive for the Villans as they embarked on a remarkable 12-game winning streak that culminated in the club making a return to the Premier League.
United boss Solskjaer is understood to have both players as part of his plans ahead of next season. Manchester United fans would be happy at the prospect of more club-grown players staring for the club next season.
