Manchester United have only signed Swansea winger Daniel James in what promises to be a record-breaking transfer window for the club.
However, United transfer window is yet to kick full gear as the club have not made any big money signings, as the club appears to be focused on young players with the Mirror claiming that the United have made a bid for highly rated teenager Hannibal Mejbri.
The 16-year-old is regarded as one of the young prodigies in French football and recently had some contract issues with his club Monaco.
Mejbri had appealed to the French League to null his contract with Monaco, which would have the paved way for a free transfer move. But the petition was rejected by the organisation. Manchester United are apparently not bothered by the decision and are planning a £3.5m bid for the youngster.
Mejbri has displayed a mix of natural ability and potential in his short youth career. It is believed that several clubs have expressed interest in the midfielder.
The u21 international enjoyed a breakthrough period for Monaco youth teams last season. Mejbri is most likely to leave in the summer as Monaco are likely to sell.
The youngster is yet to make his professional debut and he could be one to watch out for in the coming years.
