Manchester United have reportedly offered teenage sensation Hannibal Majbri a contract that would see the player leave Monaco in the summer.
The 16-year-old is considered as one of the brightest midfield talents in France and has already played for the national u 16 team.
It is understood that Monaco are currently in a contract tussle with the player over the legality of the five-year deal signed previously. The player’s representatives claim that the contract had not been ratified properly while Monaco are claiming otherwise.
If the claims by Monaco are dismissed, Mejbri would be free to leave the club in the summer and Manchester United are the most likely destination for the player. Monaco are desperate to keep the player but his mind is made up to leave the club according to French tabloid RMC.
The report also says that Manchester United have offered a sizable wage offer with a large signing-on-fee which Monaco apparently would not be able to match.
The lure of playing at Old Trafford looks to be too much for the youngster to turn down.
Manchester United also have a tradition of promoting youth players and it would be no surprise to see the player playing in the famous outfit in the nearing future.
