Manchester United have made a swift £30 million bid for Chelsea target Nicolo Barella.
The reports have itthat Chelsea are in pole position to complete the signing of the 21-year-old Cagliari midfielder but it seems United have acted quickly with a bid.
Chelsea have already completed a signing this winter in Christian Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund. Although, the American sensation will officially join the Blues at the end of the season.
United on the other hand are yet to complete any signing even though they are regularly being linked to this or that player.
The club is short on midfield option, so securing the services of a player Chelsea are targeting and are supposedly in pole position to capture will be seen as intent.
The Cagliari youngster can play as a deep lying midfielder or as an offensive mastermind. Acquiring him will contribute greatly to general flair with which the team want to play.
Capped a couple of times by his country, he has featured 18 times in Serie A this term. He is young and quick in mind and thought.
United need reinforcement in order to have a proper second half of the season to propel them to champions league spot.
