Manchester United are in the market for a new striker on the off-chance Inter Milan succeed in their bid to sign Romelu Lukaku this summer.
It is reported that United are ready to trigger the release clause of Sevilla forward Wissam Ben Yedder who is expected to leave this summer.
This is coming after United turned down the chance to swap Lukaku for Mauro Icardi and it is now stated that the Red Devils will pay €40m (£35.8m) to sign Ben Yedder.
The 28-year-old had an impressive season with Sevilla as he recorded 30 goals and made 11 assists to earn his side an Europa League spot.
Lukaku was on fire in the early stages of the 18/19 season but his stats dried up particularly in the second half of the campaign as he scored 12 goals in the English Premier League.
Ben Yedder is also targeted by Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain. The good news is that Barcelona are close to signing Antoine Griezmann, leaving PSG and United in the race for the star forward.
Meanwhile, United are also linked with a move for Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang with reports suggesting the north London club could cash in on his sale to fund their move for Wilfried Zaha.
