The Red Devils will be sealing the transfer deal for Hannibal Mejbri in the next few hours.
This comes as various reports have been claiming the transfer terms have been finally accepted between Man Utd and AS Monaco.
Man Utd have been in the race to sign the 16-year-old during the January transfer window but they saw their £4 million transfer bid rejected by AS Monaco, according to reports from France.
RMC and L’Equipe claimed on Wednesday that Mejbri would now be moving to Old Trafford this summer after a transfer bid of €10 million was formally submitted by Man Utd.
The French sources report that €5 million of the transfer deal will initially be paid by the Red Devils while the remaining €5 million will be paid as bonuses.
With this in place, the reports added that the youngster is due to have his medical in England any time from now after which an official announcement will be made.
Man Utd have beaten the likes of Arsenal, Bayern Munich and Lyon in the race to sign Mejbri.
The 16-year-old attacking midfielder is known for his technical skills and he is identified as the biggest of his generation.
He went through the same INF Clairefontaine pre-academy, which was attended by the likes of Henry Thierry and Kylian Mbappe.
Hopefully, Man Utd would be able to get the best out of him and make him shine at Old Trafford and in Europe as a whole.
