The transfer window has really heated up with several clubs making big money moves as teams across Europe look to strengthen ahead of next season.
One player that could be on the way out of Manchester United is Belgium forward Romelu Lukaku. Reports from Italy claim that the 26-year-old is edging closer to a move to Inter Milan.
Highly rated Italian Journalist Nicolo Shira took to Twitter and revealed that Lukaku is Inter Milan’s major transfer target in the summer.
It is understood that the Italian giants have agreed contract terms with the player having offered him a five-year contract worth £6.6 million a year.
Schira adds that United have demanded a transfer fee of £62 million for the Belgium international with Inter Milan negotiating for a lower fee. Lukaku career at Manchester United has been a tale of two seasons.
His first season at the club was excellent as he was key forward for the team that finished second behind Manchester City two seasons ago. Last season meanwhile was a struggle for the former Everton ace as he was unable to recapture his form.
If this transfer goes through Manchester United would have to get a replacement and it remains to be seen which player the club has lined-up as his replacement.
